Port Townsend Cider Route

If you live in or plan on making a visit to the Northwest you are in luck. One of the best cider day trips anywhere is up in Port Townsend Washington where there are 3 terrific craft cidermakers all of them nesteled all up in the mountains and trees in one cozy community in the North of Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

The three cidermakers are:

All their tasting rooms are lovely, each individualistic representations of their owners and their personalities. The ciders? Well worth the trip to town. If you do your research and can find them all open on the same weekend it's my guess that you could easily visit all 3 cidermakers in around 3-5 hours if you keep an eye on your watch and not let time slip away.

The idyllic way to make the journey would be to take the day or even the weekend and include a visit or stay in the historical and ever funky Port Townsend to drink in the maritime scenery, eat some food and visit with friendly locals.

Below is a helpful little map I illustrated. If you need we even have a downloadable PDF with step by step instruction.
